Before going into detail on how to use a shisha pen we should know that there are basically two types of shisha pens available in the market. The first type is the rechargeable refillable electronic shisha pen while the other one is the disposable flavored shisha pen.

·         How to use a rechargeable refillable shisha pen

1.       To start off, first we should know that the rechargeable refillable shisha pen consists of three different parts

a.       The smoking tip

b.      The glass flavoured tube

c.       The battery

2.       Before one can actually start using the product, the battery will need to be charged fully keeping in mind that correct amount of voltage is used.

3.       Once the battery has been charged, the user would then need to insert the flavoured e-liquid into the shisha pen tube.  To do this the smoking tip will need to be unscrewed and the e-liquid poured into the glass tube.

4.       Once poured, screw back the tip keeping in mind to not over screw it.

5.       Finally attach the battery back into the shisha pen.

6.       Most such devices have an on off switch on them and to smoke through the pen all that is needed is to simply hold the button and inhale and exhale through the pen.

7.       Once done, to switch off the button, click the button almost 5 times in fast repetition as this will help in switching it off.To turn it back on do the same again.

·         How to use a disposable shisha pen

1.       All you need to do is to unpack the already fully charged shisha pen.

2.       Then remove from the plastic tube.

3.       Proceed further by removing the cap.

4.       If there is a button on it press it and inhale.

5.       Indulge in a pleasant smoking experience.

Until now there have been no known health related risks regarding the use of shisha pens as it only contains a few ingredients compared to the thousands of different chemical that are present in the traditional shisha. Nor do they contain any form of tobacco, tar, carbon monoxide or harmful toxins that are typically related to different kinds of health risks.

1.       For a rechargeable shisha all you need to do is recharge it and refill it.

2.       For a disposable shisha pen it will be already mentioned on the packaging how long it would last. Different disposable shisha pens have different number of puffs depending on the brand.

·         What does it mean if I get a burnt taste while using a shisha pen?

Most shisha pens include a built in wire coil just as the one found in light bulbs. The battery heats up this wire to help vaporize the e-liquid. If you are getting an unpleasant burnt taste while using a shisha pen it could mean that the quantity of e-liquid within the shisha pen is low on the wire coil; this can even be the case if the tank of the e-liquid is full. Or if after using the shisha pen for quite some time the wire coil starts to grow ash, it would stop the e-liquid from being absorbed.This can be noticed as the e-liquid within the shisha pen starts to turn brown.
